Lets see those custom stocks and concept guns

I'm a designer by trade, and a habitual tinkerer, modifier and have the terrible habit of getting a great product and saying "this is awesome, but it could be just a liiitle bit better if I..." Sometimes this is a benefit, and othertimes I find myself going, "well that didn't work out."

In that line of thought, lets see those custom builds, the home made stocks and improvements (for better or worse). I extend this even to dream guns, the "i wish they built this" concepts.

My first submission is my custom stock for my Maruader pistol. The idea was to be a compact stock that would allow me to shoulder it and improve accuracy, with out bullpup trigger linkage (I was being cheap and not wanting to drop the cash for Rapids pullpup kit). I came up with a stock and more so a alternate hold style for shooting.
The end score for it, was a success on comfortable hold and compactness also Very smooth and natural to quickly cock the gun, but ultimately a guns trigger is designed to be held a certain way. While this worked, and worked well, it wasn't quite good enough, but it was fun.

I'm a pushover for beautiful Walnut-here's my two favorites-
Corcoran stocked Gen1 Marauder- this one is a little narrow for offhand shooting but is a delight on sticks.

My quirky CZ S200 in 'Scout' stock, shoulders and points beautifully and has a quirky charm!

I'd love to carve a stock some day, but just finding time to shoot is challenging enough right now.

"Strever"Dave
he quit making them after some kind of trouble with some idiots
his full name is Michael Chavka a very talented craftsman i think in Florida
he even did a 7 part stock making 101 write up with a ton of images on GTA
which he deleted after the trouble he had
................................................. Strever , very nice stock, guns you have, would you care to elaborate on the the Michael Chavka incident,? I have admired his work for many years, I must have missed the post, I have always lusted over his great work , but held off , as I am kinda of rough on nice wood, always seem to bump & ding stuff, the reason i usualy have synthetic stocks , just started having my wood stock hydro dipped, thanks , roger

I don't know if custom finishing counts? But my Crosman 160 Pellgun v1 and 760 Powermaster v1 came out really nice.
The Pellgun has a Centerpoint 4x32 scope on Ron Robinson mounts with seal & valve upgrades.

The 760 variant 1 has a NOS 761xl rifled barrel, mac1 seal & piston upgrade kit, Custom mounted MOE 2.5" picatinny rails to mount the Simmons 4x32 scope on low-rise Hawke weaver mounts. And check out that crazy opaline grain figuring. They're like ghost/peek-a-boo painting on a car; they get more or less intense with angle of view.
