Where did you get the drop blocks? Did you document the shortening of the tube and the drop block install?
Back in the day everyone used the drop blocks from the QB79 rifle and some made custom block drop parts. Then lucky folks could buy them direct from Umarex for the Gauntlet drop blocks.

Today, the only place I know to get them is on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124985669073

Some of them are designed to just screw right into the valve, others require drilling the tube for screws but that is easy if you dont rush it. Just make sure you do it right and use the best screws. There ared tutorials here on GTA. Our very own member Nervoustrig is one of the best for advice on doing it right...

Finally got this one done. Mostly. Polished trigger sear, installed adjustable trigger spring, Alchemy Airwerks brass roller trigger and their brass hammer spring adjuster. Replaced the Hatsan red dot with a Hawke 1 x 30. Four coats of hand rubbed teak oil really brought out the luster in the wood. Only thing left to do is drill and tap the frame for the trigger travel limiting screw. Been too cold and windy to really test or adjust hammer spring but from what I can tell it‘s a good shooter. Hatsan red dot and the other power adjuster are going on a 14.5” barrel 2240XL build so won’t go to waste ha ha ha.
