Hey guys I recently bought a picatinny machined reciever from a member here for my 2240 and I am thinking about how I want to build it. Id love to see all the cool configurations you came up with on yours. Let the best 2240/1322 builds begin!

I am almost too embarrassed to post a pic of my garage gun next to all these beauties but I will. Mine started off as a Custom Shop 2300. It’s a little thumper now with a great shot count. It’s so ugly that nobody has ever knocked it over in my garage.

I like the cheap builds the most actually vetmx. Garage builds are awsome. I have been thinking about building a steam punk style over the top design built out of the cheapest options out there. Like pvc shroud. Hose clamps and bubblegum kinda thing. Problem is the pic rail receiver is too nice for that. Im thinking a disco tube with 177 lothar walther 18" barrel.

Where did you get the barrel band?
Where did you get the barrel band?
zpatrick2240
Where did you get the barrel band?
If you mean mine, the seller from Thailand who made the receiver also sold me the band. The size is right, but I had to replace his set screw, it was too short to snug the tubes.

Thanks. I assumed it was a Corcoran or West stock but I think you're right.
I'm familiar with them. Did you contact through Facebook?

These builds are driving my need to build mine based on the 2250, steel breech, great trigger, good power, now looking for good wood and ordering a TKO for it

Don Cothran build with powdercoated grip frame.

Tubes and breeches have been professionally-reblued.
Grip frames also powdercoated.
Dunno but them Crosman grips are downright ugly with their cheap paint and casting marks.
For me, custom Crosmans only look good when their grip frames have been refinished too.

That is just it and before you know it you have $200-$300 into build…the good part , it is now yours, the way you want it.
Where's the Thing….they are so dang fun and accurate that you will Never want to part with it….so money well spent.
Bottom line, one of the funnest and easiest platforms to learn ,+ so many custom parts and great advice.
I like them better than my rifles.
