Like clockwork, the rabbits have returned now that my wife decided last minute to fire up her garden! Right as we were about to head out for dinner, she yelled for me to stop an invader. I had just cleaned my barrel 1/2 Hour earlier, and already had a 15gr JSB in the bore. 10 seconds after she sounded the alarm, I had this guy in my scope from ~22-23y out:
I still had it tuned for 30fpe, got him off hand with my bipod still sitting at 45 degrees for an awkward shot taken (a little high and to the right of the heart).
This is just the beginning of a long war to come. These things are like magnets out here to anything that is grown for food, I took down well over 3 dozen in the first week that my wife planted in her new garden area a few years ago with my P-rod and Polymag shorts!
