Leshiy with a Polygon barrel?

Just a thought for now but I think its going to happen but first I would like some opinions on this. Also would be curious if anyone has done this. Considering I have the needed equipment to size a barrel to fit, I figured what the hell, why not. Considering the price of the barrel blank is relatively cheap. I would be going with a chocked barrel but would like some thoughts on non chocked. This would be done in .177 for now then .22 later. I also use a bit of a hot set up. 10 gr JSB at 942 fps currently.

On one of Edguns russian videos he makes the comment that he is unsure about the accuracy that a leshiy would be able to produce with a polygon barrel due to its short length. Its at the end of the video where he test the russian alfa barrel. He made it sound like he hadn't directly tested it himself, so if you do attempt to do it Im sure you would be one of the first.

Good to know Lou. I am happy that you chimed in on this. JadadC, That was something I was wondering as well. Would the length of the barrel being so short restrict the polys performance in a way. Its not like the leshiy needs it because it is very accurate as it is.

Good lord man. That thing would look ridiculous. It would be special thats for sure. Heh. I dont even like what they look like with the 350mm barrel.
