Leshiy Scope - Looking for Suggestions

I went from the Hawke 2-7x32 to the Athlon 4-14x44 to the Tac Vector 3-12x44. I’m sticking with the Tac Vector for now, nice little scope for the $

I tried to get rid of all of my scopes with Mil reticles and MOA turret adjustments. It just does not make any sense at all to do it that way it should be Mil reticle with Mil Turrets or MOA MOA. So, I would not touch the Hawke scopes because of that. Used to be a fan of the little Bug Busters but they are cheap scopes and although OK for a cheap scope you can do better. Discovery makes a nice little compact scope also but the Tac Vector betters it as well.

That leaves the Tac Vector which has a Mil reticle and Mil turrets and the side focus is a definite plus such a deal! Joe did a review on the Tac Vector and says it is a good deal for the money. I trust him so that is the choice I would make.

Just FYI, Back in January, I picked up a Veyron 3-12×44 SFP for $155 shipped, using VectorOptics' "New Friend" 8% discount. I think my next scope will be a US Optics TS12X. It's more than you want to spend, but still not as much as a Stalker.

When I had my Leshiy I used this Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32. Long eye relief so the scope does not extend beyond the hinge when folded. Very clear and light weight. You can find them for under $250.

At the bottom of the first page of this thread is a good link to some good options a fellow member posted. He has a new thread with a bunch of other comparisons, but this was pretty good when I was considering what to put on my Leshiy.

In the price range you're in, the Tac Veyron would be my pick. At 64 years old, I need better glass and more magnification than the others on your list. It's really hard to find compact optics that focus close, with more than 9x mag.

The Tac Vector is the clearest of what we're mentioned. YO!

If you could get a used MTC Viper connect for your price range I have to say the scope is AWESOME! YO!

I have to jump on the bandwagon. I use a vortex scope and swfa scopes, I like them. I recently went hunting with my friend who mounted a tac vector scope, and man, for the money he spent, a damn fine scope.
