Leshiy Grip extension. Make the grip like it should have been in the 1st place!

The EDGun Leshiy is almost perfect, the only major flaw (IMHO) is the grip, which is made for very narrow hands, or for cartoon hands (thumb and just 3 fingers ...).

It looks like Ed has received a lot of comments about this, because the grip of the Leshiy V2 seems a bit longer.
But the V2 grip will not fit on a V1, because the V2 has an AR15 form factor and the V1 does not.

So I designed a little extention for the grip to be printed on a 3D printer. The result is simple, but oh so effective! It is now really a nice grip, as it should be!

The only extra part you need is an M6 x15mm (or 20mm) bolt because the original bolt on the bottom is now too short. You can just leave the original cover plate on the bottom, so it won't get lost ;-) Spray matte black with a cheap flat black spray can, and you're done!

Final result:

I published the design on Thingyverse so you can print it yourself:

Have fun with it!

PS. The scope is an Ali Bushnell 3x44RD that is on it. And the rail is a gooseneck pica rail that was sold a while ago on Ebay (not anymore though) by the Russian gentleman that makes them.
Nice to see that Ed has copied my colored dots for fire/safe on the LeshiyV2! ;-)

I followed the link from Edgun West months ago and had a Magpul type grip 3D printed from the STL file he has on his website. I went to www.makexyz.com, following all of Brian's instructions and received a grip in about 2 weeks. It's an excellent enhancement and has a compartment where you can store some things. I had to buy the Magpul insert to close the bottom of the grip. It just plugs in and snaps into place. I chose the oil bottle holder but don't plan to use the oil bottle just to have the largest volume storage space inside the grip.
