Tuning Leshiy Classic..Pressure Release Ball..

My Classic has a very slow leak..doesn't really affect thing if you just fill and shoot..still getting around 25+ shots from a 245bar fill down to 105 bar. It's just annoying. Obvious o-rings have been replaced. The only spot I haven't checked is the secondary pressure release on the manometer back plug.

Would something like this work to gently remove gunk and polish the ball seat? Just spinning by hand with or without polishing compound?

There's one with a 3mm head. All have a 2.35mm shank

Thanks. I'll try the soapy water and give the o-ring chunk method a try.

Is the rear pressure release screw located underneath the rotating fill hole cover? Or is it the screw that stops the cover from rotating? Not obvious from the schematics.

I know there's a spring loaded ball bearing for the fill cover that's a bit tricky to remove. Tips on that?

No pictures but the ball & spring are in-line with the stop screw.

So once you loosen the butt stock & remove the stop pin you can slowly slide the fill cover back (meaning towards the gauge) & expose the ball.

I slide the collar back with the stop pin pointed towards a thick, folded towel & have it catch the ball. Then shake the spring out if it doesn't fall out.

Edit...

I don't mean with the stop pin pointed at the towel since it would be removed at this point. I meant the hole where the stop pin was.

Edit over...

Putting the ball back in has given me more trouble. I hold the ball down with tweezers or a pick & slide the collar back over it.

I mark the location of the indexing slots on the cover so you're at least close when sliding the cover back on. Usually a dot on a piece of tape.

My Leshiy 1 came with slow leaking because of missing the small o-ring between the hole and the gauge ... Put one in, no more leaking ...

Thx everyone.
@airgunnerca Yep. Replaced that one when I swapped the EDMU for a Wika.
@Scouty I haven’t removed the end of the tube with the fill port yet. The fill port o-ring is the one held in place with a screw facing into the air-tube, correct? Recommendation on how tight the screw needs to be? Too tight air won’t enter..not tight enough and slow leak?

1) Correct, at least that's how I remember it.

2) I watched the video referenced in the thread below this one.

I didn't actually click on the video embedded in that link but I assume it's the same one. I followed the instructions. I believe something like barely snug and then a 1/4 turn?

If that doesn't appear to be the correct video let me know and I'll find it. Don't follow my advice about the 1/4 turn until you verify.

It definitely takes a stronger turn on my tank to get the air flowing so I possibly have it a bit tight. But I can fill it and don't have a need to take it back apart and loosen it.
