Leshiy

I store my leshiy unfolded because I don't like the idea of prematurely wearing out the gun by leaving it cocked for prolonged periods. Plus the gun is small either way so having it unfolded isn't a big issue. However, Ed stated that you could leave the leshiy cocked indefinitely and nothing should happen. 

Mine stays folded, but then again I shoot mine almost every other day MINIMUM. 

After my last shot I leave it unfolded, uncocked and stand it up butt first with my other guns in the safe. Keeps the orings/valve/seals clean and free from debris. 

Uncocked relieves tension on the hammer spring, possibly extending spring life.

Closed position prevents unnecessary cocking of the gun and keeps particles of dust and dirt from entering. 

Best idea is get a small gun sock/case and store it uncocked and closed when not in use.

Just a few common sense thoughts. Probably not necessary as Ed's guns are built to last.

Yes the man himself said you can leave it cocked and it won’t hurt it and I believe him. But I don’t leave any of my other guns cocked so if I know I won’t be shooting it for a while, I just store it closed and uncocked.

I leave mine unfolded and in my cabinet unless im packing it around. I have left it folded for over a week and have had no issues. Like Vetmx had said. Ed himself says its fine. So im sure there is no reason to worry. As long as you are not pushing a spring beyond its limits you can basically leave it compressed forever without causing any harm.

I store mine uncocked, but it is meant to be stored folded with no ill affects. Like others have said, this info is straight from Ed himself.

Unfolded here. I figure Ed knows more about his models than I do, so if he says "store it this particular" that's what I do.

I've stored mine both ways but now after the last shot I just leave it uncocked and unfolded.
