How is the build quality in both airguns? I assume being at a similar price point both are good, but any minor differences?

Order both and see which one ships first? Or order both and take your time deciding since both will be painfully long wait.

Both of mine work fine, and appear to have absolutely fine build quality.

I’ve owned a .30 Impact (600mm barrel) for nearly 3 years and a Leshiy classic for over 3 years. Both were purchased new, with the Leshiy being bought in .22 and included a .25 x 350mm barrel at that time. A Huma reg was also installed when new. Each rifle has been shot over 10,000 times.

Now comes the part that some may take exception to – for day to day shooting, trigger quality, safety operation, consistent velocities and POI, feeling of overall quality to the rifle’s operation and lastly accuracy; the Impact is heads and shoulders above of the Leshiy. I like them both and still own them both, as they each have a place in my air gun arsenal. But one thing I can say with absolute certainty, my Impact is not finicky. It shoots and shoots well.

I realize this doesn’t qualify Leshiy 2 ownership, but it’s still my experience after 20,000+ rounds total through these two rifles.

Just spoke to Alex at Utah, very helpful and friendly, I'm on their waitlist now for bronze .25 with DonnyFL mod upgrade too. Let the wait begin!
