Tuning Lelya2.0 - Tunes and Hammer Spring Clicks

Hammer spring settings will be different for each rifle. Find maximum muzzle velocity at your reg setting by increasing hammer spring tension until velocity no longer increases. After you find maximum velocity lower it by 3-5% to optimize air consumption. This would be the optimal velocity to your reg pressure setting. If you need higher velocity just increase reg pressure and repeat above procedure. If you need lower velocity just turn your reg down and repeat the procedure.

Thanks guys. I understand how the Edguns tune. I'm asking more as a reference point, both for me and anyone else interested. I also understand that each gun will tune slightly differently. But each gun is mechanically the same as the next, so I'm assuming that they'll be delivered within a few bar on the reg and a similar number of clicks on the hammer spring.

When you shot the gun for the first time, what was the velocity you got from the pellet weight you used? Again, I'm assuming that there was a minimum "factory" tune when the gun arrived. I'd run mine thru a chronograph, but the one I have is old and doesn't have an incandescent lighting kit..so I have to wait for full sunlight.

This doesn't have to be limited to new Lelyas..it could be a used one you picked up, too.

Finally got around to visiting a friend with a good chrono..thx Technoman :)

So the 18.1gr JSB are ~890fps :)

Interesting note on the 10 click 13.4gr start point. I thought the EDMU was broken..LOL..it took 2 sometimes 3 shots to use 1 bar. At that wimpy setting it was literally one hole at 19 yards.
