Tuning Lelya2.0 Plenum Size??

Does the Lelya use a "one size fits all" for its plenum across all calibers..177/22/25 ?

If there were different sizes, wouldn't the atmospheric breathe hole need to be in different locations in the airtube?

The first pic is from Ed's "personal Lelya disassembly video"

Last is a plenum from the EdgunWest R5 30 "power upgrade" video

Hi All,

I checked the 22 and 25 schematics for the Lelya. The plenum, #4, is the same for the 22 and 25 Lelya (Part Number LLM.300.005).

FWIW, picture #1 has the old style (longer) Edgun regulator. The later Edgun regulators are about 0.54" shorter.

Leon83 makes a good point about the Lelya reservoir tube vs the R5M Matador reservoir tube. If the Huma 12 fpe Lelya kit is used in the R5M Matador, the "sleeve" that is pushed into the reservoir tube to seal off the breathe hole must be pushed inward beyond the end of the Huma regulator to seal off the hole. (This is covered in depth on a UK forum.) Not a real problem it turns out. Once under pressure the 2 o-rings lock the "sleeve" in place.

Never thought to look at the transfer port sizes but that was not the original question.

Hi All,

The Huma part that looks like a plenum is really just to seal off the factory vent hole. Yes. The regulator just screws into the end plug. W/o the factory plenum in place you pick up about 25 cc of reservoir volume. I should have measured mine before installation to give an accurate number :(

The un-fun part is chopping the stem on the valve poppet. I'd certainly invest in a spare or two poppets prior to installation of the Huma kit.

Enjoy,
