Lelya just arrived!

I didn’t get the nice wood, she’s really plain. But that’s the only fault so far. I put on a scope and sighted in at 20 yards, then shot this 10 shot group at 35 yards. These little bull pups are easy to shoot, I was very happy with the first group, and I know it will just get better and better. I’ll post more groups later at 60 and 75 yards.

LOUD...??

If my .22 Lelya doesn't scare my two cats...indoors, 10ft. away, it can't be THAT loud..!

Mike

My cats dont like it no mater what I shoot indoors. I mean its not crazy loud or anything but its one of my louder airguns I have. Id say that my vulcan in .25 has less volume then my lelya. Actually the only thing louder then my lelya would have to me my ocelot. I even feel my leshiy id a bit on the loud side as well. I never have been to impressed with Edgun's sound suppression but the quality of their airguns more then makes up for it. I will say that I do have the power turned up a bit on the lelya, pushing a .22 18gr jsb at 920fps so that could be part of it. Though even before I messed with the power I still felt it was a hair up on the volume. I have also checked the baffle and whatnot thinking that there was an issue. Everything was fine. Id still call it backyard friendly up to a point. All in all its a damn fine airgun.

I think a lot of the noise on an edgun is mechanical. It could definitely use an anti ping. Have someone else shoot it and it doesn’t seem near as loud. I thought my r5m long 25 seemed loud shooting it till I sat about 10 foot from my wife shooting it. My streamline with donnyfl sumo is still my quietest.

I also agree with this. I was letting one of my friends shoot my R5M Standard in .25cal and he was about 4 to 5 feet away from me and I would say that the moderator is very effective.
