Not sure if you can access these images guys, but I have been struck with the dreaded IOS emebedded pictures in email, so can't upload any other way!

Anyways my first gripe with the MAVERICK, was that the factory butpadd ends up in my armpit when shooting from the bench, added a SABER TAC buttpad, problem solved!

Second as a lefty the MAVERICK is not ideal to say the least, but this gun is special, so IMO is worth mucking about with!

Reversed cheekpiece almost done and an FX STREAMLINE mini mag and Bob's your uncle, works a treat and feeds perfectly.

Dang! So if I want to buy the Maverick I've been saving for, I really need a Saber TAC butpad, probably a bag rider too since the Wildcat I now own has one built in already and I like it, a cheek peice and special magazine because I'm a lefty, a rail extender for the bipod. Did I miss anything? Oh yes, if I want to bring it up to it's full design potential I'll need to get a Slug Power Kit. Almost forgot...since barrel harmonics can be an issue on some FX guns I suppose I'd better buy Ernest's carbon fiber barrel tubes now and call it a day.

I couldn't help it,

LOL! yes but think of all the fun you will have getting those in the mail!

only problem with the saber tactical is joe bidens sorry self didnt send enough money for their steep price of add ons and i am in no way knocking saber tactical just saying the gun is all i can afford and their prices are too high for me to justify not saying they ane not worth it so far the maverick is the only air riflr i have had that when i pick it up it is still shooting where i zeroed it and i can justify that in the price all these manufacturers are great and when i can afford it the add ons will be added

Okay - I have never posted anything, so I really don't know what I am doing or if this will actually reach anyone. However - having gained so much knowledge from this site I wanted to give a little back - for what it's worth...

I agonized over purchasing the Maverick due to being a lefty (some reviews suggested nose removal as a requirement for left-handed shooters). I pulled the trigger literally and figuratively and have not had this much fun shooting in a long-long time. I have an original Condor .177 and Armada .25 and although both are fun to shoot - the Maverick is ridiculous... BUT - I have to admit that those reviewers were not incorrect; this is not a left-friendly shooter.

Not having a 3D printer or a desire to throw $250 @ Saber Tactical (come-on guys R&D doesn't cost that much), I took this albeit simple approach to make the Maverick seemingly - ambidextrous and extend the stock a bit as I am 6' 02". With the shorter relatively ambidextrous cheek weld (yes I know it can be done better), the standard magazine can be inserted normally (for right-handed shooters) or in an upright/left side of gun position (for left-handed shooters). For ME (not necessarily everyone) the alternate magazine position does not impact scope positioning or eye relief. In addition to the micro-adjustment, the stock extension slides up and down the rear rail to accommodate MY bench rest and other shooting positions; it also pops off in a second to re-install the OEM if desired. I have reviewed a lot of Maverick related data from this site and hope the pics below can offer some inspiration to those considering the Maverick but are lefty-reluctant. The PDF below is a photo collage with more detail to better explain what I tried to say above...

Thanks - BAM
