Leapers has reintroduced their 3-12x44 full size scope as a "classic"!

I just noticed this. Wade and I both love these scopes on our Mrods. His is 9 years old and I bought a new old stock one a couple years ago. They range estimate very well for a 12x scope, 6 mil-dots in all directions, a relatively thin crosshair, not too heavy, no IR, just a great budget friendly scope.

It's model# SCP3-3124EAOW and is called the "classic". About $100.

Jeff,, I purchased this model a couple months ago from Optics Planet. Happened to be on their site browsing and came across this model at what seemed to be a great price so I impulse bought it for a future rifle. I've yet to mount it, but have checked it over visually and sighted through it outside and it seems to be right in the lane of what I use my optics for - pest work and target shooting out to 50yds. This is my first 30mm scope so it is a bit heavier than what I'm used to and unlike many UTG/Leapers scopes, this model does NOT include rings so I also had to order two sets of 30mm rings for either 11mm rail or picatinny. I too am a SF enthusiast as well as mildot reticle with 3-12 being the optimal power(s) for my style of shooting. Can not see any reason this scope will not be a great performer once I do find a place for it.

Surprised this thread didn't receive more replies being nearly a year old.
