lead-free

All the game that I've taken with my TX200 have been taken with the H&N Baracuda Green .22, 12.65 grain, domed, lead free pellets. They are cleaner, harder and more consistent in shape and weight than lead pellets. With my TX200 the accuracy has been unmatched by other pellets. I did use 16 grain lead pellets with my HW 90 as they were more accurate with the more powerful air rifle. The tin pellets are more expensive, however, tin is a commodity and its' value has been rising. It is listed as 1 of 5 metals most likely to disappear by 2055. It's hard to believe but more than 600,000 lbs are mined each year.

"Regarval"Airguns are exempt, hopefully stays that way. I always keep a copy of the F&G regulations with me while hunting, just in case I get stopped by a warden.
I do exactly the same thing and have the air rifle section underlined in yellow. I also have a copy of the LDC case in case they question about my Shrouded barreled gun that is "Part of the Gun".

I live in Kalifornia, which is like living in Stalin's Russia in the early 40's. You must be sure of the law, unless you are Hillery, in which case you can get away with murder ... but that is another subject.

Anyway. You can never be to careful, in Kalifornia the hunting license expires June 30, so I will be at Walmart on July 1st to get a new license, and pick up new regulation books.

AOA got a request from a guy in California for lead free bullets to smoke coyotes with his Texan. Kip from AOA called me and asked me to make some. I have 202 gr. HP bullets done. They are made from Roto Metals lead free alloy http://www.rotometals.com/product-p/leadfreebulletalloy.htm in a brand new pot that has never had lead in it. I will be testing them this weekend. I may also coat them with a green epoxy coating. Then they will really be green bullets. I will report the results to Kip when he returns from Africa. If they work out the will be available through. AOA. Other calibers will be made and tested soon.
