LCS SK19 or HUBEN K1?

Depends on your use really. I have seen a lot of good things on both, but the SK19 seems cooler. On the flip side it doesn’t have the stamp of endurance on it: meaning that it hasn’t been perfected in engineering with consumer use/issues/bugs and so on. I think the LCS is an American company but the parts are made elsewhere, so the gun is really just assembled here, unless I am mistaken.

I’ve never had or shot a Huben. But from an outsider to the brand, it seems like the ones we read about have had lots of work done to them or required much Upgrade and/or repair work. When they first came out they appeared to be nothing but problems. So good for Huben working hard to upgrade their guns.

The LCS is new and seems to have a few issues - but much less than the Huben (from the reading I did over the past 3 or 4 years on the forums). I have a .22 LCS SK-19, and it’s a laser. A couple weeks ago I was shooting 3:4 inch spinners at 95 yards and hitting 3 out of 5. It’s set to shoot the RD Monsters at 985 FPS. And c’mon man, just how cool is Full Auto? What guy does’t want to yell “say hello to my leetle friend” before he greases a family of ground squirrels at 75 yards...? Ok, it doesn’t have a match grade trigger. But if you know how to squeeze the trigger without moving the rest of the gun it’s perfectly fine... ;)

I only have the SK-19 in .22 and after the barrel fiasco, it got replaced, and now is shooting 3/4 to 1 inch groups with a large variety of pellets at 75 yards so not too bad. What is a real blast though is to remove the moderator and shroud flip it to full auto and let loose on some steel at 150 yards. 😃 The trigger is a bit weird but easy to get used to and does not seem to effect accuracy.

I have been waiting (it seems for ever) on Huben releasing their (new factory) latest version of the K1 in .25, hopefully Aug.

The LCS carbon (580cc) bottle option would be an appeal to me, it's reported NOT great trigger a put off, However it makes little odds as I would not be allowed to own a LCS due to "full auto" and local law.

ps, £ ($) the K1 is less by an amount = more for a scope ect, that's if your on a budget.

That is true, AoA advises against changing Reg pressure. But, on my .22 with just the power wheel, I can go from 880 FPS with 18.1 grain JSB to over 1000 FPS with the 25.4 grain RD Monster. Honestly, no reason to change reg pressure... However, it is externally adjustable should you go that way... I don’t know about 80 FPE, but I do know it will easily go to over 65 FPE with the reg set to 130 bar, which is my factory setting. 80 FPE would not be unreasonable with increased reg pressure IMHO.
