LCS Sk-19 barrel

Well I can tell you one thing for sure Lw barrels don’t look like that from the factory! 12groove or poly! That’s machining marks from LCS!, builders will machine a few thousands off the ends with a pilot in the bore to square it up, but it shouldn’t look like that! If you have a borescope would be interesting to look down the length of the bore?



Thanks I have a borescope and since you mentioned it I installed the app on my phone and used it for the first time. The rest of the bore looks pretty good as far as I can tell except for some leading at the chamber. The scope makes even the bad look much better I have to enlarge the area to even see the damage at the crown. The camera pics show the damage much more clearly.

I would doubt that....



Two choices,...... cut 3/8” off the end of the barrel, recrown and recut the thread. Or... carefully bore out the barrel 3/8” deep and de burr.
