LCS Air Arms SK-19 .25 (I'm in Love)

Hey guys, super excited to be getting out with the LCS. I've had the rifle for about a week now but due to weather haven't been able to do more that drool over it. I'm going on a camping trip in the morning and plan to do some shooting with it. Sofar I'm very impressed with it's build quality and look forward to testing some NSA slugs out of it. Will take some pics of my adventure and report back in a few days. ☺️

I found that my my .22 SK-19 has a tightly choked LW barrel. I have read that the .25 barrel is also an LW so I would imagine it is choked the same. The barrels are made to shoot pellets. Choked barrels do not shoot most slugs so well. That does not mean you will not find one that will werq in it though just that it may not be easy. You will need to shoot the slugs at a higher power than pellets to overcome the choke. NSA does make a good assortment of slugs so not a bad place to start.

These things are a blast and once you get over the initial full auto craze they shoot semi-auto quite well. Have fun on your outing.

I hope you take extra air,

as in Tanks, or a compressor

I need a full auto , semi auto like I need a hole in my head,

But the guns seem to be a blast, and fun as crap,

and that what its all about,

Oh the carbon fiber wrap looks bad as s

Mike

Not a wrap the carbon fiber shroud and moderator are OEM equipment on the guns.

Nice work bench set up, Crosman. Wonder if they will make the rifle with a detachable mag. That seems to be the only real negative.

perhaps someone could correct me as I'm looking to buy one of these too, but I have a huben k1 already! I presume the negatives of the huben k1 (outlined in another thread on tis forum) apply here also are:

1. Due to the hammerless system - the rifle is always "cocked" which presents a potential safety issue if there is a pellet loaded

2. Due to its immense power, pellets at higher velocity are inherently unstable and may appear to make the rifle appear inaccurate. therefore use heavier pellets and reduce the velocity

3. personally, I found although "hammerless", putting my head next to the action was very loud at any velocity setting so I have to wear an ear bud in my right ear when shooting this gun

4. its a chinese (huben) /taiwanese (lcs) gun at the end of the day - many members here have pointed out they wouldn't feel comfortable shouldering 250bar chinese gun next to their neck...

But on the plus side - this is the most fun gun ever. power is immense and semi auto on the huben keeps my smiling all day, can only imagine what full auto will do ...

I think they took many things from the Huben design and improved it. The safety concerns happened if the gun gets a major leak, at low pressure the hammer system can open. I have not tested this but from the design I would imagine this can happen, hence reason for two safety's. The full auto feature is a novelty and serves no purpose for me as a hunter, super fun though. My impression of the LCS is it's the most innovative airgun produced at the moment and they have a great future. The LCS is far more tunable than anyone would need for various ammo. I plan to experiment with slugs just to see if I can reach some accuracy with them. The gun certainly has enough power to push just about anything. Very pleased with it sofar, very accurate and I don't see a problem with the trigger at all.
