Latest FX Slug Liners

My slug liner shoots best with about 6 o-rings in there although the slug liners don't come with any. Any properly fitting O-ring will do. Test with a few, test with a bunch, without any and also test them in different locations. It definitely makes a difference in accuracy. Way back when, I was told all the "you tube gunners" take them out for the best accuracy. Maybe so, but not in my experience. Don't believe everything you read online. LOL Be sure and test everything yourself! Have a great day! Stoti

I wanted to come back to this topic.
I have experimented and without o-rings the slug liner shoots terrible. 3-5 inch group at 10 yards!!! Put the o-rings on, (3) and I’m getting about a one inch group at 65 y.
I haven’t tuned it yet so 36.2 gn slugs are below 850 right now. I’ll try to get them up to at least 930-950 this weekend and check.
Stoti, how much do the extra o-rings help?

FX Impact MK2 PP here with 700 mm barrel in 25 cal.

I ordered some orings yesterday from my local supplier, the FX dealer don't have the oring kit in stock. I toke the online pdf and manually extracted the oring sizes for the Impact and the barrel (Canadian fixed barrel), from a total of 47 listed I ordered 30 new orings (this many in my gun according to pdf).

Anything that is making contact to a barrel and making it floating (in the gun body or inside the shroud tube) I changed the material stiffness from NBR70 to NBR90.
