The mini (aka 300S Junior) has no muzzle weight, and has a beech stock, instead of walnut. Overall length is shorter, but I can't remember by how much. The length of pull is shorter, and I think the barrel is shorter, too. All of those differences reduce the weight by a pound or so. This is my first 300S, but I can already tell, they're likely habit forming.
