I have threaded a Tanto, Shogun, Sumo, and a Ronin onto the .22 Kratos barrel (No shroud).
All moderators are .25 cal bore size. (I ordered the Tanto and the Sumo in .22 but the bore of them appears exactly the same size as the .25 models)

POWER ADJUSTMENT SET BETWEEN 1/2 and 3/4.

.22 KRATOS (shot outdoors in an open area.)

The Tanto definitely works. There is a slight sharp pop in the report but overall it is nearly as quiet as the stock shroud. For its size this thing is exceptional.

The Sumo, Shogun, and Ronin are all very close in effectiveness on the .22 Kratos. Tiny differences in the tone of the shot. Noise level remains about the same. (About equal to the stock shroud)

NOTE: I have added a foam “filter” to the rear of the Kratos’ vented shroud. As you may see in the picture it is definitely cycling air through it as evidenced by the black lead dust on it. Adding this tiny ring of foam that I made from a strip of JSB pellet can liner foam has made a great deal of difference in the tone of the original stock shroud. After installing it seems to take one or two initial shot cycles for the foam to settle into place and start making a difference. Everyone should give this a try, it works great!! The stock shroud on the .22 Kratos is now just as quiet as any of the aftermarket moderators I have used.

edit: With stock shroud left ON and Ronin installed via the donnyfl adapter endcap there is no discharge sound other than the mechanical noise of the action and the tank ringing. I did not try any of the others in combination with the shroud.

That's a cool looking rifle!

Hey mtnghost, I agree! Haha The Kratos is one of the best bargains out there right now considering what you get for the money. Beautiful Turkish walnut stock, silky smooth side lever action, a decent trigger, super efficient air usage, tack driver at 50 yds. And by using the AGN discount code and buying direct from crosman you get it all for a really nice price.
I’ve got a Hawke 6.5-20 sidewinder scope on this Kratos and they are a fantastic combination.

I ordered the Donnyfl adapter yesterday for my Kratos shroud. I tried the Koi on the barrel, it is louder than the factory shroud to my ears, replaced the shroud and added the foam, will get that adapter Tuesday, then try the Koi and shroud together;

Here is my Gorilla tape refinished sound box.

I also have a Hawke Sidewinder on mine, 4x16 ffp.

I broke the cardinal rule 0f doing more than one mod at a time, so something, or all of the below worked well.

I drilled out the air stripper holes, then put 4 inches of wool wrapped around the barrel at breech end under the shroud. Then removed the shroud spring and baffles, and then installed 2 oem baffles and then added 1 and 3/4 curlers with one wrap of felt around them. It is noticeably quieter which of course makes the ping louder.

I need to call Crosman tomorrow for a warrantee problem, my gauge is 600 to 800 psi off, worst error on a on board gauge in my experience, even worse than my Spark gauge. But first I need to see if they are the same gauge, if so I will just buy a 5000 psi gauge to replace it. With the bottle regulator installed, the gauge on the regulator is used for the bottle pressure and the oem gauge then tells you the regulated pressure, so I need a dependable gauge.
