Today the little red, white and blue, right hand drive truck bought my well waited for Kraford and Lypt Impact up grade. Over a month ago, I noticed that Kraford and Lypt had some of there parts available in gold. So I reach out through there web site and inquired if there was any chance I could get a KLS-2 in gold. They went out of there way to build me a gold KLS-2. The first thing they offered was to change the color of the pads to build in yellow. It looked great but not a gold gun. I then sent them a picture of my gold Impact. They went to work. Well, One month latter the USPS truck shows up with this gold box.
It looks out standing on my gold gun
It takes less then 30 seconds to in stall the KLS-2. simply remove the hand nut on the right side of your gun. Slip the old hard plastic rubber thing FX calls a butt pad. And slip in the KLS-2 for a fully adjustable butt stock.
This will allow you to adjust the stock pull length, height (kind of like a comb adjustment), cant and cast
Here you can see how the new KLS-2 has cant adjustment. Allowing both right and left hand adjustments.
The pull length has over of 1 inch of adjustment
The height adjustment allows you to adjust more the 2.5 inchs up and down.
The cast allow you to adjust for right or left handed shooters. With the adjustments going far beyond your needs. All the adjusts are held in place with grub screws for a very tight positive locked butt stock.
Kraford and Lypt has really thought out this butt stock. It has a adjustable rear post with corse and fine adjusts. One side of the KLS-2 there a knob for the large adjustments. But look very close the rod unscrews for a very fine adjustments in elevation.
The KLS-2 now has a improved butt pad shape with the addition of small comfortable gripping numbs.
I works just fine with bag rider install. I have found it very easy to replace the gun back to the same hold every time I shoot off hand. It really give the gun a tailored fill. Some thing I missed in airgunning. If you've every had the experience to shoot a fitted shotgun you'll understand what I mean by tailored.
