Konus Pro F30 6x24x52 ffp

I guess no one has a 6 - 24.....

I bought the F30 8-32 ffp. It has a LOT of nice features and overall is ok.

Things I like ... GREAT ranging precision, internal level, bright enough, smooth controls

Things I could do without ... just the lighted reticle , although lighting only the center is pretty nice

Things I don't like .... slop in the paralax adjustment , somewhat blurry image, seeming temp sensitivity. I say seeming because we haven't calibrated the actual error, just seems to have a fairly large difference in ranging between morning cold and afternoon warm. We purchased it specifically for FT so this is important. May not matter to those who don't depend on the scope ranging accuracy . The burry image is on highest power and so far, affects almost all the Chinese made scopes I've used. This one becomes fairly clear around 24x.

The net result is that we have a LOT of testing to do before we feel like this one could be depended on.

I have an Athlon Argos 24x ffp that is actually very clear but does not range well, an Aztek Emerald 25...blurry, mediocre ranging, a Discovery 12x ffp that has a loose ocular , a Discovery HD 25x that seems built extremely well but is blurry and all controls VERY stiff, an old MTC Viper 32 that is lacking in confidence factor, and a couple of Athlon Talos 14x that seem ok but can't use them for ranging. I guess the main thing I judge them on is whether I can depend on them. They seem to work but all seem questionable from time to time on VERY accurate rifles. I guess my wife and I have been spoiled by the Bushnell Elite 4200s and Weaver's that are made in Japan. VERY clear and dependable and durable .

Not sure if any of that will help but if you mount it, you can't return it in most retailers .
