Know Your Limits Spinning Targets

I have that exact set! Absolutely love it at 50 yards. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Own one. Love it. Everyone who shoots it initially hates it, then loves it. For some reason that 1/4" rod can be harder to hit than a 1/4" bullseye on a paper target. It is great!

Well built and well designed. To make things a little easier we paint the target portions a bright color. Can paint both sides so you can shoot it multiple times, then just turn it around for all freshly painted targets for the next set of shooters.

Had it out at the range last weekend just playing. Out at 35 yards. Was able to 10 shot 'clean' it for the first time (10 round magazine, hit every one of the 8 targets then hit the 1/4" target with the 2 remaining shots). Put the Pulsar HP away after doing that!

Ive been pounding mine with 80+ Ft lbs non-stop. AR500 steel is indestructible. No deformation. Just sweet ringing of steel and spinning like mad. 

And yes that little 1/4 inch one is frustrating but ohhh so nice when you connect. Perfect target for 50+ yrds. 

From what I see on my targets there is more pellet spat than any deformation of the steel. I've shot mine with as much as a .22 Wolverine HP/JSB 25.39/890 fps (45 fpe at the muzzle).

Yes, that ring and spin becomes addictive!

I make my own spinners and have a dozen of them scattered at random distances all down the range.

They are inexpensive and easy to make (a bit of wood, some hardware and a coat hanger). I wrote a guest blog on the Pyramid Air blog with all the details while back, just search for "DIY Spinners" to find it.

I have two sets of KYL, large and small made by Mike Smith in AZ. @sturkis PM him if interested I think he still makes them.

They are super heavy duty steel and about the same price as the ones described above. I’ve used mine for over 1 1/2 years now and they look and function as good as new. Bill @crusher has the same two sets if you want a second opinion.
