Well I did it. I just could not stand how loud the thing was. It was not backyard friendly at all.
I was going to send the part out for reference so the needed part could be made but I was having a battle within myself over the fact that I do have a mini lathe and a drill press. Anyway a local machinist gave me a piece of aluminum stock to play with when I was out and about one day. So I made use of it and made a working prototype. Actually I could just call it good but I would like to make another. My original fear was making something for a nice airgun and not being a professional, but just a hobbyist and really messing something up.I just took my time with it. I used the DonnyFL Sumo that I have for my Vulcan. Thought about ordering the smaller DonnyFL for it but I was so impressed with how well the Sumo worked I just ordered a Ronan for the Vulcan.
