I think these are flying a little slow. Regulator is untouched but I have the Hammer spring maxed out. Same setting will throw a 14.3gr CPHP @ 1099FPS.

Was shooting off of the bipod, no rear support. Scope is 3-9x bugbuster. These slugs seat very tight into the breech (.217). I think I'm going to source some ~20gr slugs to see if I can bring the velocity up without touching the regulator.

Glad I found this thread. I've had a Cricket II Tac in .22 for about a month now. The only slug I'm having any luck with is the H&N .25 grain in 0.217 diameter, and even that is a snug fit. My groups at 50 yds (with some moderate wind) was been about 1-1.5 MOA. Not bad but not spectacular. I have some NSA 20 and 23 grain slugs in 0.216 and 0.2165 diameter on order.

Like you, all I've done is max out the hammer spring pretension. I don't remember exactly what the speeds were but it was under 900 fps and I'd like them to be around 950-1,000 fps.

Please keep us posted on what you learn and I will do the same.

I'm getting a new optic this week and I hope to be able to do some plinking if the weather will cooperate (currently gusting 20mph +). I'll also try to get some 50 yard groups on cardboard and post those. I think the factory configuration for these rifles is limited to about ~43ft/lbs (or at least that is what mine maxes out at). I ordered mine from krale, so it doesn't have any third party tuning in it. I think I would have to up the regulator and/or flip the plenum if I wanted to bring the speeds up with my current projectile weight. I'm not keen to do that, as I'd be guessing on the regulator set-point and I only have a boosted hand pump as a fill source.

I think I may have finally found a slug my Cricket II Tac likes, NSA 0.2165 in diameter, 20.2 grain, dish-tail. I'm able to keep 10 shots inside a 1" circle at 50 yds. Not spectacular but the conditions weren't ideal and I still need to get the trigger right. It's also still kind of a tight-ish fit into the breach, but not as bad as all the other slugs I've tried.

Speaking of the trigger, could someone please school me on how to adjust it? The first stage is way too long. I've tried adjusting the turnbuckle but that only changes where the trigger rests, not the length of the first stage. I tried the one allen screw, but that seems to adjust the seer. Are there any other adjustments?
