Kalibrgun Capybara VS Airgun Technology Uragan !

Only 2 issues I know of, and Ernest worked with me on ironing them out. Cocking rod was little out of adjustment , and had to be lengthened by just turning it. (Literally a 5 minute fix). Also Ernest fixed the indexing issue by drilling a small hole and inserting a small spring to orient the indexing finger in a certain position. (10 minute fix). So, you see, these were by nature very simple fixes and for whatever reason, the gun got a bad rap. I have owned 6 Colibris and did all the fixes myself. Actually, two of them never needed any fixes out of the box. After fixing, every one ran like a Swiss watch. All 6 Colibris never leaked, so I cant speak to any leak issues, as Ive ever seen one leak. Actually I bought a Black/Black one from WWAG, back in the day (Ernest Tuned & still have it) and it still has never been apart. Thousands & thousands of shots and never had to change an oring yet.

Sorry to say it, but you have to be some what mechanical to own guns like these. I understand if some owners wanted a trouble-free gun out of the box, and if they had issues, by all means return it and get your money back, no harm, no foul.. Dont forget and lets be fair..many of the "Big Name" Airguns also needed tweaks..But the Colibri sold itself, and still does, and its benefits still far outweigh the negatives and minor tweaks mentioned above. Just my experience.

My brother owned a Colibri and it was one of the best guns he's ever owned. He always amazed me at shots he did even out to 120 yards! Lots of ground squirrels were taken with this little gem!

Nice share, guy !

218bee thanks for the detailed response. The colibri has really got my attention. What's the shot count like and they are only in .177 or .22 ?

Hopefully we see the capybara for real soon. I wonder if the fore stock on it will be removable. The square barrel is an acquired taste too.

I get 70 shots, (5 mags), on my Colibri from 260 bar, down to 115 bar. They only came in .22 Cal. I too am hoping that the forearm is removable, as I like that look on my hummingbird.

I have seen the pictures of yours on here Scott and it's a beauty for sure. I found this vid on sniperqrty Instagram after looking on spiders link.

Shows the fore stock easily removed. Capybara looks a bit longer than the colibri though which is a shame.

I'm not sure but maybe because of the length of the barrel. And is it related to semi-auto?

Thanks for your kind words swami.

Yeah I saw that video where the guy takes the forearm off, showing that it is removable. Makes sense that it would be.

I like the wood stock also, however some pictures of the synthetic stock from the 2018 gun shows show that they had a synthetic version that has a built in bipod with fold up arms on the forearm....now that would be a cool feature.

I keep hoping there coming soon
