Just when i was going to give up

I have been fighting with this crosman phantom non NP. It shots all over the place and I had started to tame it a bit when It ruined a scope. Back to the drawing board. Funds are tight right now and a new.scope just isnt in the budget. I figured I would sell it and be done with springers until I could afford a nice one. I was just screwing around with it over the weekend when I figured I would test some pellets in it that I had never tested. Open sights at 25 yards had me shotgunning the targets when this happened

3 shots and I pulled the 3rd one a bit. This gun has never shot like that. H&N Baracudas. I was dumbfounded. Maybe this gun is worth keeping after all?

I've had awesome results with Baracuda Match 21.14 gr in .22 caliber.

But they are a little finicky as to velocity. They don't want to be pushed too fast.

They liked HIGH power in my Red Wolf .22 standard, and they like MID power in my Red Wolf .22 HP (935 fps). They don't perform so well at HIGH power in my RW HP (1014 fps seems too fast for their liking).
