Just Ordered Set Pressure Yong Heng 110v

Had no luck offering to take Bio's Yong Heng off his hands to make his new house move easier, so took the plunge. Bought HUSKY (16oz.) full synthetic compressor oil and $60 water/oil filter. Do any owners secure compressors to a base or are they fairly stable in operation? Thanks

I have not got mine secured. It moves around a little bit BUT it isn't on a very secure surface either. It's on a board, on top of its box.

I think it would stay still if it were on the ground or a good, solid bench.

;^) I have mine sitting on a 5x12 wood block with a piece of closed cell foam under it unsecured but on a level surface and it has not moved at all in a couple of years.

Rubber feet on yours looks way bigger than those in the picture of one I bought. Last week guy creamed a guardrail with heavy wooden posts near me. County just tossed broken posts in woods. Think I'll take a look. Thanks Bio and Reidy for replies. Reidy, I was going to put mine on Rubbermaid shelf but way Bio has it looks pretty sturdy. Plan to run gold filter up Rubbermaid post, just like picture, and build gun rest on shelf for filling.
