just ordered a slug barrel for my taipan veteran

my taipan shoot slugs great as well , and I am 52fpe with my std gun or 18.1 inch barrel , I ordered it to have a 24 inch barrel , as I am now running 2 of Ernest plenums and the air tube is longer then barrel , and I have to say my Taipan is as accurate as my R5M but it is lacking power of the edgun , my guess is I should get atleast 15fpe more for 6 more inches , and it should be in the 65fpe to shoot 30 gr slugs currently it is shooting 25 gr at 960fpe

If i can up power Id love to shoot my mp hn 30 gr at 950fps is my goal ,

I bought it for power it already has accuracy with anything i put in it LOU

Gimm this one is .22 cal , I will let you know of the accuracy , I wrote to taipan they did not answer me yet to see if this is their CZ barrel , My veteren is a CZbarrel , , I was told the newest batch of taipans does not have CZ barrels , and more then likey this is not a CZ barrel , I hope it is , as I could of gotten a lw blank and just threaded it and crowned and polished it .well we see , I got my fingers crossed I want same accuracy as mine just longer to get more fps LOU

Hi ct shooter I had great luck with my barrels from them , geeze it was bent? this don't sound like them guys they got all cnc machines and usually them blanks are proper diameters ? Did you message them ? they very good people their just received 2 of their new barrels today !0/15 they look great , I will install and post data soon , LOU
