just joined and cheap air guns

bought 5 cheap air guns over the last year crossman 760 crossman 1077 daisy 880 and am having a blast shooting on my backyard range all three are very accurate can reg hit a quarter at 20 yards with cheap crossman scopes with pellets of course have about 300 dollars in every thing including ammo i shoot almost every night just wondering if anybody else is having as much fun as me with cheap air guns

Heck Ya, the cheap ones are so much fun. Bought a Crosman 2100 to play with, then got a Crosman Powermaster 66 that was heading to a dumpster, resealed it and best shooter of the cheap ones. Also got a Daisy 880 and it is a close second to the 66.

Spent last winter making a basement range. Spinners 1-1/2 inch and 3/4 inch, some knock downs with pull string to reset, and of course a few of the small drink cans. I hang the cans by a string and love shooting them in half. It is so satisfying when the bottom half drops off after a shot.

The cheap airguns are a lot of fun. Just hard to keep stocked up on pellets. Have fun and keep the lead flying.

When I bought my AA S510, my son-in-law asked my wife why I spent my money on toys. I have a FID card and several powder burners and the purchase of the AA confused him.

Fast forward 6 months. He and my daughter wanted to have a gender reveal party at our spread.

Of course he wanted one of those thermite colored exploding targets.

When it came time for him to shoot it with his wanna be AR-15, he missed six times in a row at 50 yards.

I asked for the rifle, and with one shot exploded the target.

I told him that with my "toy" I could cheaply and anytime I wanted hone my skills.

He didn't have much to say.

I have started cheap with most, Crosman 2240 and have done some extensive modification on all, steel breech , good triggers, good sight, and am even building one for a Christmas present for my 10 year old grandson. I do have an HW 75, not cheap, and an old Beeman Original Six, recoilless air pistol. My cheapest air gun is a Crosman 2250 type, again with upgrade trigger, Willaims receiver sight, and a 21" barrel.
