Just got my used FWB 601 SSP 10M target rifle .177

Received my .177 FWB 601 in the mail this past weekend. The gun, although approx. 30 years old (estimate) is in very good condition and shoots like new. Single stroke pneumatic (SSP) target rifles were apparently used prior to the PCPs in Olympic type events. Haven't had any time to run it over the chrony (should be about 575 fps with 8 grain .177 pellets), but did sight it in at 10M, and with me in a sitting position it truly stacked pellet on pellet, over and over again. Very easy to pump, and the trigger is phenomenal... Its the only gun I have that has a better trigger than my .22 Daystate Renegade electronic trigger. I bought this to practice off hand shooting in my back yard to become a better shot for hunting varmints with my PCPs... If I would have had this gun when I was a kid instead of my Crosman multi-pump, there would have been no squirrels or birds left in my neighborhood.
;)
