Just got my shipment of .25 JSB Exact King HEAVY Diablos

Can't wait to try them out! But, alas...

My shooting platform (aka Deck) has been ripped off the house and is in the process of being rebuilt. So, for the time being, pictures is all I can provide. I hope to have the major deck building happening within the week and get back to some distance shooting. At best, I'll set up a table at 25yds and shoot out to the 150yd target head to head against the .25gr exacts. We shall see how things play out....

Anyone else shooting theirs? Got any results you might want to post?
:)

I have some on order from PA but they are still back ordered. Have some 25 grain comming as well. But that's ok I'm still waiting for my RAW also. Thought I would get a jump on them before the gun arrives so I would have something to shoot. Good thing I did. Hope they come before the gun. Be a bummer if the gun came first. I'm looking forward to hearing your results. Have fun building your deck.

Tried them in my wildcat, hatsan bt65 elite, and talon p.talon p didn't like them but i attribute that to the fact they didn't quite squeeze all the way in the breach like regular kings. However, the other two loved them. One little hole @50 yds. Both the hatsan and wildcat firing them around 760 fps.
Hope to shoot some longer ranges, have been tuning my hatsan to them. Now flinging them avg. 865fps like some slow moving, hard hitting laser beems.

DID YOU WEIGH ANY OF THEM? I read a previous post about how the pellets were not consistent weights.

I got mine Friday. Conditions weren't great, I could hear the wind blowing through the treetops. but my range is well into the woods and the trees blocked most of the wind. First groups at 50 yard were very promising:

This morning it was dead calm (though near 100% humidity)
Here's some 100 yard groups, groups 2 and 3 are 0.7 MOA and the 4th group 4 of 5 were 0.7 MOA :

a 150 yard group, 3 of 5 in 0.55", 4 of 5 in 1.3" (0.84 MOA)

And 2 5 shot groups at 75 yards

I'm looking forward to seeing what these can do with a clean barrel and after sorting (just got a scale).
Sorry the pics are so small, for some reason this forum doesn't seem to allow me to link to my bigger versions on pbase.com

Nice shooting guys! :D
Here's some groups shot at 125yds 1st group is with 25.4gr Kings and 2nd group is with the new 34gr King Heavys
Above the ruler, approx a 2-1/2" group shot in a pretty constant 5-10 mph wind. I was aiming at the hole above the 12" mark which means they got pushed about 11" during flight.

OK, so lets just count the 4 since I think it was an error on my part. 4 shot group is about 1-1/4" and again, aiming at the same hole in the metal which means these got pushed about 6" during flight. Big difference!

25.4 speeds...
891.7
895.4
893.6
895.0
898.3

34gr speeds...
808.8
800.1
804.2
810.7
807.2

These were the first time I shot them, no sorting, weighing, washing, nothing. I wasn't compensating for wind. I just shot at the hole in the metal every time. I was shooting my Wildcat off a folding card table. The slipped into the Wildcat magazine a little easier than the 25.4's do, fit fine, no problems at all. As you can see from Ztirffritz's last picture they are quite a bit taller than the 25.4's.
Cheers! Tom

Edit: forgot to mention the drop difference...
25.4's dropped about 1-3/4" average
34's dropped about 4-1/4" average
