Some guns are never finished. I built the "Blue Gun" near twenty years back time flies whether you are pursuing the addiction or not. Any way it is a 2240 with a 2250 barrel, modified valve, trigger ect. and some paintball parts added. It was originally built for co2 but I have a compressor now so run it off a 13ci tank regulated to 850psi where it likes to shoot. The gun in it's glory days shot 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards all day long as a bolt action single shot. I have run tens of thousands of pellets through this thing over the years usually out shooting or matching my friends with their rifles. I had to retire the DAQ breech as it was time for a repeater. I have been seeing these China made, actually Taiwan made, breeches around so thought I would try one. I feel sorry for the person that thinks they are a good fit. It came with metric screws for our SAE guns it also has a piece of some kind of tubing for the rather long transfer port. The tubing is really soft and I had my doubts about it sealing so made a Delrin TP. I also filed the burrs on the linkage and moved the lever to the left side of the gun The breech itself seems to be machined fairly decently but all the linkage looks like it's hand carved steel and fits pretty sloppy too. It is just another one of those well designed but poorly implemented things from the far east. It's about time I started modding guns again I don't know why I ever stopped.

Hey Bio, you did make the jump.

So, now that you have the plastic port in hand, you would recommend to use something different? Since I have no raw material, can you recommend which vender and which model you would recommend for our custom breech?

By the way, since you did switch to left like I did there is a potential problem. The sloppy linkage is sloppy like you said. The pin that holds the two links together is only pressure fit as you can see. On my sample, the pin did come loose. And it would only fall straight down. The wedge shape of the pin may stay safe for right side lever but definitely not for left. So a hammer and some metal to try to smash and jam it in place.

I am sorry to hijack your thread, but I would really like your advice since I am still needing to rebuild mine to fix leak and install power adjuster.

I have crosman silicone chamber oil, super lube, and sentry moly powder. I am guessing super lube for the trigger links. Silicone for the co2 powerlet and if I ever lube the pellets. Then the moly powder for the hammer tube, and all the breech moving links to avoid attracting dirt to those bare visible pivots. Thanks. Welcome back to the water.

I was hoping to hear from you I was looking for your thread. Yes, I would suggest something different. The stuff they included seems a bit to soft to me not sure it will seal but it is possible. If you are unable to get it to seal try some poly refrigerator tubing it is a bit more substantial. If you email me your addy I can send you the original T-port that came with my breech and a piece of paintball macroline which I have used for t-ports before. Or you can visit your local paintball shop and pic up a piece of macroline yourself. It is more dense than what comes with the breeches but not as hard as Delrin so slightly more forgiving on the size. You will need to shorten it to the right size cuz I don't know what size it should be.

You can probly find the power adjuster on eBay I got my last one there as it was easier than drilling and tapping out the rear cap to make my own.

As far as lube goes I would just use a light oil on the hammer and linkages and grease on heavy wear areas. A drop of silicone would be good on the tip of each powerlet.

The design is awesome I just wish the whole thing was as well done as the breech itself.

With any luck I will have this thing shooting in a day or two.

I am glad to hear your build worked the first time.

I am still waiting for my power adjuster to arrive. And I ordered the brass tp from the UK.

In the meantime, a little target practice in my living room. I ruined my air tube banging on it trying to get a stuck caplet out. Still a newbie. Didn't hurt it the last time I had to force it out. Always leave some air. And doesn't hurt to lube the sides either. Lessons I have now learned never to ignore.

So, more new parts, plural, since I can't trust the threads on the filler cap. Tried to force fit to Mickey mouse the tube back in shape. O well. This time unstamped tube for Max safety when I am ready to set it up for hpa as a dual fuel bugout bag back up dinner getter.

I may be asking to pick your brain some more on the not so distant future.

(BTW, Google found me a thread of yours from many years ago on expired? Forum about transfer ports)
