Just A Few Pests This Day

Shot and missed a few pigeons this day and managed to shoot a young groundhog with my FX Impact now with the 30 cal. barrel kit installed. I am really liking the 30 cal. shooting both pellets and Varmint Knocker slugs. The JSB 44.75 grain pellets hit hard and are less affected by wind than my smaller caliber pellets and even at an incline of 30 degrees only fly about 400 yards downrange so they are easier and safer to shoot than the slugs in that respect. When I need the knock down power and increased range the Varmint Knockers really expand well and are putting a hurting on the groundhogs. The way I have my Impact set-up is with two top turrets with range markings for elevation. I have the factory turret marked for the pellets and a 3d printed turret that sits on top the factory turret marked for the slugs. The power wheel is set to max for the slugs and it barks some with my moderator which is only the DonnyFL Tatsu so I might have to upgrade there. I shoot the JSB 44's on minimum power for 860 fps and it is very quiet shooting on that level. Enjoy the video Bill

That's some good shooting and a nice video. What are you using for scope/camera and software?

With that rifle I have an Falcon 3-18x50 FFP scope with the Side-Shot and GoPro Hero 5 set at 1080P 120fps FOV wide with a Peau Productions lens. I use Cyberlink Power Director 17 for my editing software though I just do the basics with the editing. Bill
