Just a Brief Rant

I ordered a Brocock Sniper from AOA. I got the tracking number and followed it. Initially it was supposed to be delivered today. I got that dreaded notification from UPS that delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Stuff happens but the darn thing sat in Salt Lake and didn't move an inch for three days. I determined that by reading their arrival and departure scan dates. Maybe AOA might consider a different carrier. I've found USPS to be responsible and competitive in their rates and service.

own I completely understand your frustration with UPS But….

I assume the main reason AoA uses them as their primary shipper is two fold

1) if by some chance the package is lost, damaged , etc the claims process is Much easier to deal with than with a Government owned company, if you have ever had to deal with USPS and a claim you know the nightmare that is.

2) Actual cost of shipping packages, UPS give a substantial discount based on volume, USPS is minimal if any..( unless you are Amazon.. Lol )

Now with all of that said I personally can Not stand UPS.. I own my own company, Inertia Racing Products and I ship 800 to 1000 packages a year on average , I will NOT use UPS unless specifically requested by the customer. I have had Very bad experiences with UPS … But USPS , as stated has the pita claims process..

So my rules are simple , any package under 250.00 retail value usually goes USPS, anything over 250.00 goes FedEx , I have found them to be reliable and much faster delivery times, in turn keeping the end customer happier
