Not sure if I'm looking for something heavier but I'd like to have the performance back that the older thin skirt pellets had. The newer kings look identical to the AirArms pellets. They had hollow pointed tails instead of the traditional flat we used to see. Group is impressive with the 510 to say the least

Ok, so according to the Pyramyd Air online calculator, if your .25 airgun can generate 48 foot pounds of energy, it would launch the new .25 34gr JSB Exact King Heavy pellet at approx. 797 fps. I imagine in "real world" testing many airguns will launch the Heavy at higher fps.

I'm excited because I have to turn down my Sumatra to "5" out of "13" on the power wheel to keep 31 gr H&N pellets under 950 fps. I want to see how these perform at between 900-950 fps and I have plenty of range for adjusting the power.

I got some a few weeks back. I wrote a first impressions mini review. To sum it up, the skirts on these are too large and I had problems fitting them in my magazine.

I still have an unopened tin. If you have some 25.4 Kings I will trade it for them. The 33.9 are 300 count tins instead of 350 count.

@blackdiesel Do they shoot well out of the Sumatra or more specifically, do they shoot as well as the 25.39 Kings?

I did a mini review on this forum. I tried them at 25 yards and they're accurate. The problem is the skirts are very large and I had to stuff the pellets in my magazine. At the highest power setting the first shot is over 80 fpe but there's no curve. I was disappointed in them so only shot about 18 pellets from one of the tins.

I saw a post on this forum where a member got a 25 cal sizing die. I may try that route because I think a good fitting JSB at this weight would be great for the Sumatra.
