JSB JUMBO BEAST?

.177 Beasts shoot very well from my RAW TM 1000 at 18 to 23 fpe.

.22 off 33.9 gr Beasts shoot well to 40 yards from my BSA barrels. Beyond 50 yards they wander. At 100 yards they are hopeless. I have the feeling that they require a faster barrel twis rate than I have at approx 1:17. When I manage to get an FX crown I will try for a 1:14" or even 1:12" liner for the barrel. They are a long pellet snd as with cf rifles may require faster twist. Well we will see as it will be some ti,e before I can get a Crown into Australia. ... regards from OZ, Harry.

I shoot the 177 beasts for the purpose of slowing the rifle down. I generally use them to control animal infestations and garden patrol of munching critters. I limit my shooting of the 177 with these pellets to no more than 40 yards and usually within 35 yards or less. I have used them in a break barrel 177 and the Benjamin Marauder PCP 177 with good repeatable accuracy. They do work extremely well for me with ethical kills.
