Haha Right on James!

Yeah, you're not kidding.. Those things put a serious dent in the ol' food-fund. 🤣
I stocked on on Crosman Premier pellets @ $7.00 per tin of 500,
hoping to hold out til' spring to get the Hades, but, I'm too impulsive, and couldn't wait..

Hopefully they'll get here before I starve to death and end up like this guy ---> 💀

🤣

Just preordered two tins of each at pyramid air! Says estimated in stock 3/18/19 hope this holds true...

Really wanting to try the heavy .20s in my new Crow Magnum!

James from Michigan,

James, I think you may find the heavier pellet may result in lower fpe from that rifle. But I have been surprised before.

In any case energy may not be your reason. 20 yrs ago the CM I had shot best with brown box Crosman .20 Premiers to a best of 1.15" at 100 yards. It shot rabbits to that range and a nice fox at 45 yd. JSB didn't make any .20 cal pellets back then.

Of interest, it has been the only rifle I have had in any calibre that would shoot the crow magnum hollow point pellets with fair and consistent accuracy to 50 yd or further.

I may try to get some of the new heavies for my RAW TM 1000 for it's .20 barrel and for my old Sheridans ... Kind regards, Harry.

Hay Harry,

I have 6 boxes of Crosman premiers in .20 and a few tins of the older gold top JSBs and a bunch of assorted beemans including crow magnum hollow points. I'll be trying them all! My custom tuned HW97 will shoot what ever I feed it but I've heard the same thing your saying about the theoben and it might be more picky on ammo. At any rate I'll find something it likes ! Those heavies might be a little slower but if they're accurate and in the 24fpe range they'll do just fine for vermin at the farm...

James from Michigan,

James, my CM111 was not picky with other well made pellets of the day such as Baracudas and F&TT, the last shot at an adjusted slightly lower power to keep mv in hand. I had the hand pump which allowed me to fiddle with the air spring pressure via the ?Shroeder valve.

There is much positive I could write about that brilliant rifle - but on the negative side, it could destroy cheap scopes and even the rubber bushings in the Dampa Mounts (they can be replaced); A shoulder can suffer too from cocking the rifle many times in a cramped position. But when held as it liked to be and shot with disciplined follow-through it was amazing.

More later perhaps if there is further interest. ... Very best regards, Harry.

Well now the new date for arrival is 4/1 !

Hopefully this doesn't drag out all spring and summer.

James from Michigan,

They must have teamed up with FX to set unrealistic release dates... if so it may be six months to a year before Hades trickles in.

Hades has been selling in Europe for weeks now. We need it in 20gn or 21gn for high power .22 cal. guns.
