I have tried this particular pellet out of many guns , and 3 different tins bought at different times and for whatever reason I can’t get them to group well…The 7.33, 10.3, and 8.44 will do like you expect from JSB pellets… The other kinda has me scratching my head .
They look fine and seem to fit in breech consistent but a gun that will shoot dime size groups with the others mentioned shoots poker chip sized groups with the 7.87. Now all my guns are slow poke springers so maybe they do better out of PCP rifles ? The average for 28 groups of 5 shots is .085 CTC.
This is a slow poke also at about 720 fps.
I believe that a barrel must “season” in to a particular pellet. I always shoot about 25 rounds when changing from one pellet to the next.
Some pellets it makes little difference, it seems to me the JSB Express is one that benefits from shooting in.
At their much higher price point, they must have something going for them.

I was trying out a new HW30s at the recommendation of Smaug. the JSB 7.33 RS shot great ( .469 & .502) which is great for my newbie abilities. However the 7.87 just fell apart at way over an 1.25 inch. These groups were shot at 16 yards. Actually the rifle really loves the RWS super point extra’s at 8.2 I actually had two groups same distance at .398. Groups were shot from a sand bag front support indoors. This air gun stuff is a sicknessDitto, I was trying out a new HW30s at the recommendation of Smaug. the JSB 7.33 RS shot great ( .469 & .502) which is great for my newbie abilities. My RAW TM 1000 shoots them as well as 8.44, 10.34 at < 14 fpe or so. I mean tiny little groups. … so I guess again it is what your barrels like. … Regards, Harry.Joe, If there is a best pellet for my FWB 124D and FWB 300S that is the one - but the difference to the 8.44 is negligable.
