JSB 33.95

Your findings could be a very good reason I have found they are not that great in my bobcat or streamline. I think your on to something. I think the clock is ticking on my next buy...a scale. Thanks for point this out! The 25.39's are loving my guns, so that is the way I'm going for now. Gotta get that scale! sending some positive feedback your way for showing me the light.

cant see all the data but if you normalize it do this (34.8-33.0) divided by 34.8 x 100 [%] it is still around 5% plus minus, that not that much variability in weight. even if i divide it by 33 instedad of 34.8.
chasing your tails guys i think.

Shoot those weight sorted heaps on their own separately and compare the POI.
Show us some groups pictures about POI

Perhaps there is no relationship at all just your gun would not group or the wind is skewing the results or it is the shooter.
Come on, do not add to the white noise, follow through properly if you are doing some analytical work. finish it properly.
show us some groups/poi change pictures.

you need to start ruling factors out, you are not that far from completing one step.

i just got done shooting half a tin myself, i know something isn't right with them. had to re zero my scope. my overall thought is they put 26gr in a heavy's tin by mistake. they are not matching up to the strelok pro data i previously had. but they are shooting closer to the 26grain data then the 33.95 data? has anyone ever gotten a mismatched tin like this? i don't have any way to measure the weight, only chrony and previouse data. i just recieved these from Pyramid Air.

The King Heavies do look quite different to normal Kings. Visually it's not hard to see the difference and you can feel the difference in weight.
They can only get 300 in the tin compared to 350 normal Kings.
Although I shoot them almost 100fps slower ( than normal Kings)from my gun the high bc (.056 in my gun) means they do end up on a similar trajectory.
If you post a picture of the pellet we'll know if it's a king heavy.

Sorry for the late reply, I had to go out of town on vaca/family business. However took the AW with. There is something really wrong with these! I shot 5 out of the mag and QUIT. I didn't like forcing them through the mag and they were spiraling at the 100 yard target. So Then I put in the SS tray? I was getting blow back from the breach or something. it was LOUD and the the electronics started beeping continuously. I shut it off restarted it and tried again, same thing. I have new probe O rings. I am going to change out the old one and hope the gun is not damaged. I don't know what that BEEP BEEP BEEP was and can't find anything on it. I am going to send theses back to Utah Airguns. Pretty strange!

Update.....Talked with Utah Airguns, They had an AW (just sold it) there that wouldn't shoot these either, They thought they were just to long. They are sending a tin of MK2's, Asked me to evaluate them. These people are pretty awesome to deal with. I offered to send the tin back and pay the freight for both. Nope they wouldn't have it.
I'm betting only two would want the used tin. LOL

I have found the Edgun 33.95 which are made by a JSB for Edgun to have a better weight spread with less light ones and heavies in a can than the JSB . They look the same to me, I’ve been told they are match tolerance. I get them at Edgun west. Once weighed and sorted they perfor as well as JSB with less rejects. Price is slight more than a Pyramid special . Maybe one day JSB or another manufacturer will figure out a way for closer tolerances. I like to see one of he powder burner companies give pellet manufacturing a try. I’ve never had a weight variance problem with my powder burner bullets

I just can't justify the 100-110 FPS drop. I would guess it lowers my shot count as well. One of the few draw backs of the AW is it is not tune able at least that I can find in this caliber. I think the pellet mfg's are going to have to up their game. With all these guns easily stretching out to 150 yards plus accuracy is going to be demanded. The golf ball challenge was an eye opener for sure! 150-200 yards! I saw one at 435! albeit with a big bore. Wondwer how Edgun wests .25 pellets in 25.4 do?
