JSAR Raptor Mini .22/.30 - Hajimoto Future Evaluation

What's up guys!
Just a heads up that with Shot Show over and my JSAR Mini in .22 and.30 caliber with the on the fly externally adjustable regulator, in the Hajimoto Labs, there will be a series of videos coming out which be from the initial review and general overview of performance to the complete teardown and reassembly of the Raptor.

I have been anticipating the release of this PCP since its conceptual stage. I was on the list before there was a list and its here, finally here!! I opted to use my Hajimoto Production colors in my Raptor Mini so that it was very distinctive and ahead of the curve as you will see soon as others are venturing into the land of the Orange, just remember I selected this scheme long before they did so do not look at me as a follower but as a visionary ;)

I am absolutely blown away by how much adjustability and brute power this rifle has. My Raptor Mini is also shown with the JSAR First Focal Plane 4.5-27x50 Optic which is crisp and bright with an unclustered ocular tube/eyebell housing for easy clean scope camera mountification, I LOVE IT!

Below are some photos from my latest photoshoot with the Raptor Mini. I shot a lot of video as well which you will in the near future, keep your ear to the ground guys, I'll be bringing it!

Heres some eye candy, enjoy!

I wish reticle designers wouldn't put the line numbers next to the vertical crosshair like that! It's very annoying to me to impose a number onto the target I'm aiming at when holding over, and off, in this case, in an average left to right wind with a 1 to 2 mil holdover. I also hate it when they mix .2's with .5's.

But to each their own.

Hajimoto,

I like the color of that gun. As that color was not available on the order list, I ordered the black/gold.

As for the scope, for a mil FFP reticle, I like it.

I see the scope has a mil reticle, but has 1/10 MOA turrets. At least that's what they say. Have you verified the turret clicks? Is it 10 turret clicks to move 1 MOA? Or is it 10 clicks to move 1 mil?

@Hoytwon - I have a lot to cover on this bad boy.
@Redick - The review is going to take a while but JSAR has placed a moratorium on orders as of 1/27/2020 so you'll have time.
@Centercut - Thank you sir.
@CampFussell - Me too! ;)
@mercado - All I can say is the sooner the better as this will not disappoint.
@molder - I know Knifemaker is going to be a .250 slinger so watch his posts as there are few that dig as deep as Knife.
@knifemaker - Thanks Knife, I like the way she came out. You have covered a lot of ground with yours so far Knife and you are going to places that only design engineers visit 😉.
@Papy_Yosh - A thing of beauty for sure. Working on the review and dodging the winter weather patterns here in the North East is certainly making for a demanding shooting schedule.
@Queequeg - Me too bud, me too.
@lessmundane - I will be doing a lot of things with this sucka and capturing as much as I can on video while I do it. You will be there soon enough, hang in there.
@Loren - Yeah the parts were placed in different videos and photos like the easter eggs in Marvel films
@zx10wall - Thank you and I am enjoying it so far.
@steve123 - I completely understand your frustration with the too much information provided by some designers.
@bobgm3 - Thanks I love the way it all came together in support of my Hajimoto Productions color scheme. Yes, slugs and pellets.
@joeKool - I agree, it really is Kool. The feature list offered for the price point of the Raptor mini is pretty hard to beat.
@Scotchmo - The cheat sheet says 10 click = 1 MOA but I have not physically confirmed that myself yet.
