Jeff Reinert at Trenier Outdoors is a fantastic dealer

Most (but not all) companies provide good service when you are in the process of buying something. But for me the real test occurs when something doesn't go right, and I can say without any hesitation that Jeff Reinert at Trenier Outdoors is one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I've been in business for over 30 years and I haven't come across anyone better.

Last year I purchased an Optisan Viper 10-32x60 from Jeff. After mounting the scope, I noticed what looked like very short pieces of very fine hair in the sight picture of the scope. I will refer to them as "flecks". I assumed it was just dirty, and basically ignored it since the scope was otherwise performing perfectly. About a month ago I had used my Lupy Lens Pen on it to no avail, but I was out of my good lens cleaner. I finally got around to stopping at the camera store for some quality lens cleaning supplies, and then to my surprise and disappointment I discovered that the "flecks" could not be eliminated by cleaning the lenses leading me to the conclusion that the "flecks" were inside the scope, or in the glass itself.

I contacted Jeff, and he immediately told me not to worry that the scope was under warranty and that Optisan would make it right. The only complication was that in the interim Optisan had discontinued the 10-32 model and the maximum magnification they offer now is 24X. Jeff called Optisan to see if they had a 10-32 they could replace mine with, but unfortunately they didn't, so Jeff took it upon himself to offer a solution. He offered me the choice of either 6-24 Viper or the new Hawke Airmax 8-32. I subsequently asked him if I could kick in additional funds to upgrade to an even better scope, and he provided that option as well at a very fair price. So today, I mounted the new Sightron SIII 10-50x60 on my RAW, and I couldn't be happier.

Jeff's customer service could not possibly have been any better, and he has earned my business for as long as he is in business.
