IWA 2020 CANCELLED!

Darn.

Just saw that on FB & IG. I thought you were trying to pull a fast one on us. Website does not reflect that it has been canceled. Will product announcements still be made? 

Man, that's too bad. I was really looking forward to the report outs. Better to err on the side of caution.

IWA website says postponed.

Yeah, when I saw your post here I figured it was not a joke, but still hoped. Will they products such as the Delta Wolf and others we may not know about still be announced?

Yes, all of us who planned to attend will have paid for airfares, hotels etc and it's too late to get refunds for a cancellation :-(

Seriously? Dang was really hoping to see what was coming out. Ok since it's "postponed" for who knows how long we need info on the Delta Wolf!

Sort of doubt that the various companies, Daystate included, can really afford to just indefinitely postpone their announcements until the show maybe happens... Not like they'll have bother having IWA 2020 as late as September or October considering it'd be detrimental to the next show in March 2021. And coronavirus, or at least the fear of it, seems like it could easily last that long. 

I think they're going to have to come up with a different plan, once they stop kicking themselves for not announcing at shot show

Cancelling the show is an understandable decision, but it sucks. Hopefully the respective manufacturers will continue with their announcements as this will definitely impact business.

Yeah it stings a little.

My international flight (Norwegian) is non-refundable. My flight from UK to Frankfort (Lufthansa) has "travelers insurance" so I might get some of that back. And both of my hotels have fees associated with cancellations.

On the bright side... I've got all the gear I need to travel abroad now!

I dont see a tooth brush or change of undies

I don't see dust (covid19) masks.

Can they do a live virtual show?

Better safe than sorry though I believe this is blown out of proportion to a certain extent.

Looking forward to seeing what vendors have to offer/reveal on this site though!
