As you probably know I don’t own an Impact, but a friend of mine have 2, one in 25 and another in 30 cal and he was telling me how the FX plastic magazines were failing with slugs going sideways, I took a measurement and boy, in .25 cal FX added more rounds that they should, they added 28 rounds but the only way to have 28 is to reduce the profile of the indexer to a point that some ammo will drop on its side. In 25 cal I reduced the number to 26.
The 30 cal was right on the amount of ammo but the tolerance was bad, to much space, I fixed that!
