It's time for you Daystate Delta Wolf guys to come out of hiding...😜

I'm thinking there may be a reason behind the " slow " reviews on these...

Sure weather has been an issue, so we'll take that with a grain of salt

i have also posted about the possibility of USA market manipulation in another thread, i still stand behind that to a degree ..... since the only Non .25 and .30 are being posted from overseas...

But i also believe there is an issue with the .25 caliber , the .30 cal's. seem to be shooting okay, but the .25 " may " be falling short of expectations..

I will Not name names here but lets just say i know of a .25 DW probably headed back to Daystate due to accuracy issues past 80 yards, Very well known and respected shooter, so it's Not a shooter /tuner issue..... Forgot to mention he has Both calibers in hand. .25 and .30 .....

In other threads the discussions on the length of time to release has been mostly about " making sure the flagship gun, DW " is all dialed in , bugs, kinks, etc are addressed before they ship to the masses... ehh maybe not so much in .25 cal.

Now i know i am about to get lit up here, so be it, and maybe the Daystate Mafia will be coming after me, i can handle it.. Lol

In closing : I am NOT a Daystate hater, look at my profile pic for gods sake , but i will continue to post information as i get it, good, bad, or indifferent...

Peace Guys !!!

This is my 10 shots at 75 yards with the 25. A week of bad weather slowed things down plus I’m not much of a paper puncher but when the new moderator gets here I’ll try to improve.

Lots of guesses going on about .25 caliber. I can’t even see the difference between Exact Heavy and Mk2. But, the Delta knows the difference. So if this “send back because not accurate past 80” is shooting only what he has on the shelf he could be disappointed. Without facts how are we to make an informed decision? Which pellets, what speed, clean barrel, etc.?
I have the .25 and it’s just as accurate at 100 yards as any other .25 I have or have shot. That includes an Impact, Crown, Vulcan, and Cricket. I did thoroughly clean the barrel, set the proper speed for .25 accuracy, and shot the correct pellets. Here are two 8 shot groups at 50 yards in swirling windy conditions. Next is ten shots in those same conditions at 102 yards. Both pics shot less that a week after receiving the gun, with factory settings 880 FPS and no tweakage other than cleaning the barrel and using Exact Heavy (Mk1).

false hopes and very expensive

nothing justifies 3000k

Be interested to hear what you think it should cost to develop something like this? You must have extensive background in manufacturing for such a bold statement of "nothing"

Dana - ignore luisj like everyone else is - anyone can blabber his rhetoric without a single shred of proof to his comments. Just pretend he's the teacher in the Snoopy cartoons - waa wa, wa wah, wa waaaa.......

I was curious on what you guys are talking about and then realized he already got the ignore button! 😜

OP: I think there are still only a handful of DW in the state or anywhere for that matter. It doesn't sounds like they can ramp up the production quickly but then again I'm not sure how many have committed to a $3000 airgun. Just curious on how the DW will do after the initial preorders are filled. I for one can't justify the cost but would love to see what everyone else's experience is and maybe talk myself into one if it really is fully of rainbows and unicorns with magical pixie dust.

I've shot my .25 less than I would like due to my schedule. I've only shot at one setting thus far and sent a variety of pellets/slugs that I have on hand just to see what it likes, doesn't like, at short distances (25 and 35), and from a shooting stick, not a bench. I'm using the same setting (2225) and haven't touched anything else. Barrel has been cleaned once and l may clean once more before any further testing. Gun has been shot roughly 250 times.

I think what I'll do next is to take the best grouping ammo thus far and try them on all the factory settings, then start playing with advanced settings when I see how the different settings differ in groupings.

These are the first two (limited) days of shooting.
