It's official I'm one of you now

I am now the proud new owner of a Black Sepatia JKHan Krosa in .22 caliber and I COULDN'T be happier. It will be in the mail and on the way in a week or so. I am pumped up! I have a tank on the way and am working out the logistics on another rifle that I can cherish as well and have my wife shooting with me sooner than later instead of sharing (I still haven't figured out how to do that very well) LOL.

I had purchased a Benjamin Marauder pistol and the second I opened it I hated everything about it. I didn't/haven't even shot it. I've still been using my Benjamin springer. Now that I have this figured out I will be giving the Marauder pistol to my wife's brother for his Bday in a few weeks as we go to his farm to shoot all the time and he just overal digs shooting the springers with us. He has no idea, so it will be fun. I'll be sure to get pics of the whole thing. I also have the same 66/45 I bought for myself coming for him so he can shoot to his hearts content. This kid works damn hard for his family and NEVER buys anything for himself and when he does, it's the bare minimal to get by so that everyone else can be comfortable. Now it's his turn to reap the rewards.

I want to give a big thanks to everybody on here. You all are some smart cookies and have helped me take this hobby to the next level. You turned myself and my wife into PCP shooters and have opened up a realm of fun we could only dream about and because of that I'm getting another one into the hobby to be a positive ambassador for what you all have paved the way for. Thanks again team.

Now comes the "how do I do..." Questions. I'm off to go shop PA for some pellets!

I am ready to do some shooting with the new toys!

Edit: I'm not sure how this got in here. I was trying to post this on another thread. Strange...

I think it's interesting how some people get so caught up in the technical aspects of this activity. Measuring the pressures, FPS, pellet size/weight, methodically tuning their guns to squeeze out exactly the performance that they need...There's nothing wrong with that, but it just isn't what appeals to me. I like shooting. I'll happily sit and shoot for 2 hours putting a few hundred rounds through my gun. I used to play darts for the same reason. I could throw darts all day long. There's some part of the primal part of my brain that just likes hurling objects accurately from point A to point B. It's like zen meditation to me. I wish I had a better bench rest option though.

"billydjann"Marauder pistol ---- my pistol shoots very well and has gotten many a squirrel...
My pistol is very accurate up to 30 yards.... I use mine as a carbine .. You may want to give it
a try......
I didn't like the way it shoulders. I have to add a cheek riser to it. Power wise after looking at other rifles and realizing what they were capable of I just knew I wanted more capabilities and the only way I was going to do that was by buying another rifle.

Seems ridiculous, but I REALLY didn't like the way it looked when I got it... I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't that.. I do agree that I should have given it a try, but Jedediah will love it, so it's far from a waste.

I actually ended up buying it(the Krosa) from a private party and didn't ask if I could mention who, so I will leave it at that :)

I did get a moderator with the rifle, so I am stoked about that too! The gun shoots mid 80db from my research and can drop down to low 70's with the moderator. That's backyard friendly in my book!

NM: I will try to write a review to the best of my abilities, but you will have to remember I have very little (actually none) experience with a PCP rifle and only have a springer to compare it too, so it will really be night and day, but I will make it as technical as I can for you. I know you are very interested in this rifle.

I I do have access to a sound meter and a cronograh, so I will be able to at least give you that data as hard evidence.
