It was a good day for squirrels

Took the Bullboss .25 out yesterday and got the daily limit of squirrels in about 2 hours.

"Siscakidd"Nice work! Friend of my just ordered the .25 bullboss... how do you like it?
I really like it. It shoots well right out of the box. I have not done any tuning or mods to it. It is pretty quiet, except for the ping noise by your ear. It shoulders really well with most of the weight being in the rear. The only problem I have is one of the magazines that came with the gun does not cycle well at all. The other magazine works great. The cocking lever is also very smooth. Much smoother than my M-Rod.

The trick with the Marauder is not to cock it by the ball or cone at the end of the cocking handle. Lift up the bolt by it, but when you pull it back, pull it as near to the center of the bolt as possible. When you push it forward, push it by the end of the bolt.

Also, remember that it's supposed to be clean and have just a smidge of grease on it. (except in freezing temps)

It's not quite as smooth as a higher-end gun, but it's loads smoother than something like a Discovery.

Thanks for the Marauder cocking advice. I usually cock it by holding the end. I will try the center next time.
