Not really Thurmond, We are not talking about videos like our poor old one eyed stock burning pirate does, or AEAC,
There are of course animal rights activist that will flag every hunting show or gun related show they see no matter the reason.
The issue is that Videos and Pictures are completely different than written text in terms of the amount of data that any filter would need to analyze.
So what is the purpose of monetizing a video? To make money right, Now to make that money the video needs to be viewed, what videos gets the most views? Ones that are controversial, Shocking, and or shows deadly consequences. So that's what the these adds are getting linked to and by extension the companies themselves tying them to say=== Farmer Blows up 50 pigs at once using Tannerite.
Now lets say ABC company gets a call from some activist groups and informs them that they will be boycotting them because their add was linked to that video.
And lets say ABC Company gives google an ad budget of $1000 per week (this is not a far fetched number) and they call google along with two or three thousand other advertisers and tells them that if they don't do something about curtailing this kind of issue right now they will stop using them guess what's going to happen.
Its not the people like that vet, or AEAC, or any other legitimate poster its the ones that has taken advantage of our populations fascination with these kinds of videos of death and mayhem to make money from the monetization.
The problem is the fact that the vet, AEAC or any of the other legitimate posters are buried with all that other trash and as a result gets thrown out with that trash. Its unfortunate but true
I expect Google to take advantage of this soon by offering a SPECIAL FEE for some type of unique trusted classification that posters can apply for that will allow them to monetize there content with certain provisions in the same way as they did with Ebay and Air Guns
